The expression "get on my nerves" typically refers to provoking someone. However, the designers of this T-shirt seem to have dared a literal interpretation: here, "pushing buttons" is supposed to symbolize typing on a keyboard – a failed attempt to combine humor with technology.
In fact, this design flaw gives the expression an unintentional double meaning. Instead of being a cute nerd poem, the shirt now takes a look at a world in which "buttons" are suddenly very real – and no longer just metaphorical.
