Andrew Koenig played “Boner” Stabone on the beloved 1980s sitcom Growing Pains and later voiced characters in animated series while pursuing directing and activism.
Andrew died by suicide at 41 while hiking in British Columbia. His family and Growing Pains co-star Kirk Cameron spoke publicly about his long battle with depression, helping raise awareness about mental health in the entertainment community.
