22. Jean Harlow – Saratoga (1937)
One of Hollywood’s original Blonde Bombshells, Jean Harlow collapsed while filming Saratoga with Clark Gable in 1937 and died from kidney failure.
MGM used a body double (Mary Dees) for remaining scenes after fans rejected recasting. Saratoga became one of the year’s highest-grossing films when released weeks after her death.
