During a stunt in Armour of God, Jackie Chan jumped from a tree, crashed through branches, and cracked his skull open. Blood poured from his ear, he went temporarily numb, and doctors had to drill a hole in his head to relieve pressure. He still has a permanent “hole” in his skull.
The near-fatal accident was kept quiet for years. Paparazzi never got shots of the bloodied stunt legend recovering, preserving his invincible action-hero image.
