Excess of Showy Cars

Dubai is synonymous with luxury cars, and the brand Mercedes-Benz is highly regarded both for its elegant design and its high price. The Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, one of the richest people in the world, has adorned his Mercedes with over 300,000 diamonds, which has a value of approximately 4.4 million euros. This eye-catching example shows that in Dubai, there are no limits when it comes to customizing cars and demonstrating wealth.
These luxury vehicles have a special allure for tourists from other countries. Naturally, one can admire the latest models of world-famous brands in the luxurious shopping centers of Dubai – and perhaps one is even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a diamond-encrusted Mercedes.
Cultural Collision

Dubai is a Muslim city where it is obligatory for women to dress modestly. Nevertheless, the city also shows a high level of tolerance towards foreign culture. The following picture perfectly describes this cultural collision: A woman is sunbathing in a bikini, while another lady is swimming in a traditional abaya.
In this city, a diverse mixture of conservative Muslim beliefs and Western ideas is united. It is still recommended to dress modestly in order to respect the culture of the place one is visiting. Nevertheless, some people choose to live and represent their own culture.
