Out of the frying pan, into the fire
When you hear the phrase “out of the frying pan, into the fire,” fantasy fans might immediately think of Tolkien’s *The Hobbit*. The saying might remind them of the scene in the story that predates *The Lord of the Rings* trilogy, where the protagonists, Frodo and Sam, toss the One Ring into Mount Doom. However, entering a volcano in the real world is next to impossible. Fortunately, technology has advanced, and safer and more convenient ways to capture that landscape have emerged.
Thanks to massive investments and innovative equipment, drones can now be used to take photos and videos from angles that were previously difficult to achieve. For example, the drone shots of the Icelandic volcano’s crater demonstrate the amazing advances in technology.
