Dachshunds might look like little hot dogs, but they were actually bred for hunting—especially small prey. Like Chihuahuas, they often make up for their small size with a bold and feisty attitude.
As with some other breeds mentioned, rough play is not suitable for Dachshunds and is generally not tolerated.
