Devil’s Bridge (Germany)
We’ve seen many precarious bridges around the world, and usually, the reasons are obvious – structural decay or unstable foundations. However, with this bridge, the explanation has a more supernatural side.
Before cars and gas stations, there was the “Rakotzbrücke,” which translates to “Devil’s Bridge” in German. Its semi-circular design creates the illusion of a perfect circle when reflected in the water, leading people to believe it was created by otherworldly beings, hence the name. Now, this tale is considered an interesting story worth sharing, with many beautiful photos shared on social media.
