Another animal that most – if not all – of us are familiar with is horses. Did you know that horses have a field of vision of nearly 360 degrees, thanks to the position of their eyes on their head? That alone is pretty interesting, but another remarkable fact about horses is that they can sleep standing up, thanks to a system of tendons and ligaments that lock their legs in place when they need to rest.
Horses also tend to seek attention. While they’re often depicted in an elegant light in pop culture, horses are also frequently the subject of jokes – “why the long face?” the bartender asked. Well, one moment was randomly caught on camera. During a car ride, this family decided to roll down their car windows, perhaps to enjoy the breeze. However, one horse thought this was an opportunity to give the family a nice, friendly welcome.
