# 17. Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B: Restart Your Graphics Driver
When your screen freezes, flickers, or goes black during gaming or video work, most people panic and restart the entire computer. There’s a much faster fix.
Press **Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B**. Your screen will go black for a second and then return as the graphics driver restarts. It’s an incredibly useful recovery trick that solves many display issues without losing your open work or forcing a full reboot.
