Dilma Rousseff’s Worst Moment
Ouch, that looks like it hurts! Of course, Dilma Rousseff wasn’t actually injured, but it sure looks that way. When I first saw this picture, I was momentarily shocked, thinking a sword had pierced right through her. Her expression even looks a little pained, but it’s a truly brilliant optical illusion.
In reality, she’s just walking forward and looking down while a man with a sword is walking behind her. With miraculous timing, the sword and she overlapped perfectly for a split second, resulting in this unique photograph. Just a millisecond’s difference, and this kind of amazing moment wouldn’t have happened.
