Christian Lindner & Franca Lehfeldt
The wedding of Franca Lehfeldt and Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) in July 2022 on Sylt was one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year. Despite the public attention, Lehfeldt handles the media presence with composure.
After her studies, she completed a traineeship at the RTL Journalist School from 2017 to 2018. She then worked as a reporter and in 2021 became the chief political correspondent. Since 2022, she has been a presenter at Welt TV. Lehfeldt and Lindner met shortly after his divorce and officially became a couple in 2018. They announced their engagement in October 2021. The civil wedding took place on Sylt on July 7, 2022, followed by the church ceremony two days later.
