Edmund Stoiber & Karin Stoiber
Edmund Stoiber is a prominent figure in Bavarian and German politics. He served as the Minister-President of Bavaria from 1993 to 2007 and is known for his influence on the political landscape of the state. Stoiber ran for Chancellor in the 2002 federal election but was unable to defeat Gerhard Schröder. Edmund Stoiber has been married to Karin Stoiber since 1968. The two have a long and successful partnership, resulting in three children and five grandchildren. Karin Stoiber is particularly known for her commitment to the deaf community and is a strong advocate for the Allgäu Children’s Hospice.
