Surge Soda
Surge was this neon-green citrus soda in the ’90s that tasted like liquid energy — super caffeinated, super sweet, with a bold lemon-lime punch! It came out with extreme sports ads, and we’d chug it after skateboarding or gaming all night. The cans were sleek, the flavor explosive, and it felt like the cool alternative to Coke or Pepsi. Then it got discontinued, brought back briefly, then gone again. I miss how it buzzed you awake in the best way. Younger people see old cans and wonder why anyone needed ‘extreme’ soda — they never felt that ’90s rush.
